What's new for January 1/5 Happy New Year! 2008 was an amazing year and I'd like to thank you all for your support. I will be receiving my new bass (pictured below) in a couple of weeks and then I'm going to get to work writing my new album. I'm also working on a DVD and still writing my transcriptions book. I work slowly but hopefully that comes through in the music :) I am hoping that all three things will be completed in 2009. Best wishes!! "The Ritter Supernova" I've really been looking forward to sharing these previews pics of the creation of my new signature Ritter bass guitar named "The Supernova". It will be completed in early January and on display at NAMM 2009 in Los Angeles. This is going to be a very special instrument and here are two pictures of the carved body and one of the finished 12th fret inlay of my logo. There are more pictures to come. Needless to say I'm REALLY looking forward to this bass... :) Coming in March 2009... I'm really excited to announce that I will be a part of the new book "Solo Arrangements for Electric Bass" put out by Bassline Publishing. In it I discuss, in depth, the conception of my album, the techniques involved and much more with prolific author, bassist and Bass Guitar Magazine columnist Stuart Clayton. It's truly an honor to be included in the book. It will include interviews with several truly innovative players as well as some really cool arrangements of popular songs for solo bass guitar by Stuart.
